BUSINESS USERS

General aviation

General aviation services carried out at our airport include the following:

Directing and informing our passenger and crew members

Assistance with customs procedures

Assistance with police procedures

Re-fuelling

All other aircraft maintenance and supply (electricity, water etc.)

Cleaning the cabins

De-icing

Providing weather data

Information regarding flight plan and airspace restrictions

Security services.

Outside the operating hours services are available on request (O/R). Requests are to be submitted at least 24 hours before ETA or ETD

Charts related to the airport

Up-to-date information on the airport and flight procedures is available on the Slovenia Control website

Entry, transit and departure of aircraft:

Aircraft under 12 tons (MTOW) do not need permission to land or depart from our airport. However, the flight plan should be submitted to ATS of Slovenia at least one hour prior to the flight or at least two hours prior to entering Slovenian airspace.

Aircraft exceeding 12 tons (MTOW) have to apply for permission, submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The application shall comprise the following data:

operator's name and address

aircraft registration and type of aircraft

departure and destination airport, ETD and ETA

dates of flights and estimated time over exit/entry points

certificate of insurance against third parties.

The Ministry of Infrastructure reserves the right to demand additional documentation.

Exceptions

Nothing in the above-mentioned procedures will be applied necessarily to flights in the following categories:

aircraft in emergency condition

urgent medical flights

humanitarian flights

search and rescue flights.

The above-mentioned flights will be accepted subject to prior notification by submission of a flight plan. Also note that all transit flights and technical landings do not need special permission for landing.

VIP lounge

A modern and comfortable (AC) VIP lounge is available for crew and passengers of private aircraft and business jets.

Payment of all services has to be provided before departure. Payment is possible in Euro and in any other convertible currency.
